Where's Daddy Gone

Daddy used to kiss us every night,
Until you and daddy started to fight.
You kicked him out, then he was gone,
You wouldn’t tell us what was wrong.

Daddy thought about us all the time,
How can loving us be a crime?
He was always there for us in our time of need,
Now you’ve reduced him to his knees to plead.

We only get one loving dad,
So why take away that love we had?
We can’t see him and we want to know why,
Often at night we sit alone and cry.

What did daddy do that was so wrong by you?
Just look at the suffering you’re putting us through.
You’re the one who’s causing us pain,
All we want is to see our daddy again.
